Word Chain supports multiplayer matches, rankings, profile images, and optional push notifications.

• anonymous account identifiers used to keep your cloud-backed data linked to your device
• real-time game state, rankings, season progress, and presence data used for multiplayer play
• profile images, nicknames, and account profile data when you personalize your account
• push notification tokens and alert preferences when you enable notifications
• crash logs, performance metrics, and basic device information used for stability and analytics
• advertising identifiers and ad interaction signals used to deliver or measure ads

3. Permissions and Device Access

The app asks for device permissions only when they are needed for features you choose to use:

• notification permission to send alerts or updates you choose to receive
• photo library permission to choose images or access media you want to use

4. How We Use Information

We use processed information for the following purposes:

• to support multiplayer matches, rankings, season progress, profile features, and presence tracking

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data usually remains on your device until you remove it, clear the app, or uninstall the app.

Anonymous account records, profile images, multiplayer data, rankings, and push settings may remain in Firebase-backed services while those features stay active.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information processed for the app. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk appropriate to the app.
